is Agentrics?
Agentrics
is a Business to Business ( B2B ) exchange, built on a foundation
of neutrality, a commitment to global standards and a secure
and confidential processing environment. Open and standards-based,
it is active in the development of industry standards for
transaction formats and data structure. Agentrics is committed
to developing new solutions and delivering results for its
members, which include Sainsbury's. The 'Agentrics' toolkit
consists of Collaborative Product Development ( CPD ) and
Auctions applications, all of which are supplied to Sainsbury's
by Agentrics. They are distinct from SID's 'b2b toolkit' in
that they are specialist applications whose use involves varying
degrees of subscription payments from suppliers. These payments
finance the maintenance of the current versions and the development
of further enhancements.
