how
do I register for the b2b toolkit applications?
Only
suppliers to Sainsburys may use the b2b toolkit,
and how to register may vary depending on the
individual system. For more information on each
of the systems, and how to register please contact
the SID Helpdesk on 020 7695 5188 or via email
to sid.helpdesk@sainsburys.co.uk.
why
have I got one id and password for most SID
applications and then a separate id for the
others?
Of
the current SID applications several are built
and maintained in-house. This enables Sainsburys
to give suppliers a 'SID ID' and link it up
to the relevant applications when they register.
The remaining applications are managed externally
on our behalf by software solution providers.
These sites take you to their own website/server
and therefore have separate log in details.
I
have forgotten my b2b toolkit password, or I
need it changing. who can help?
For
SID b2b ids and passwords contact the SID Helpdesk
on 020 7695 5188 or via email to sid.helpdesk@sainsburys.co.uk.
For all other applications you should have a contact
number or if in doubt contact us as above for
SID and we will assist.
how
much does it cost to use the SID Applications?
As
part of Sainsburys' commitment to Efficient Consumer
Response (ECR), the industry initiative for collective
improvement to the supply chain, most of the SID
b2b toolkit components are free to suppliers.
The 'GNX toolkit' is distinct from SID's 'b2b
toolkit' in that they are specialist applications
whose use involves varying degrees of subscription
payments from suppliers. These payments finance
the maintenance of the current versions and the
development of further enhancements.
the
PDS/PST site has not updated, or shows no documents?
Look
at the news section on the applications homepage
for the latest updates. If there is no information
contact the SID Helpdesk on 020 7695 5188 or via
email to sid.helpdesk@sainsburys.co.uk.
my
PDS data has updated but it doesn't look accurate?
Contact
your supply chain controller to discuss possible
changes in trends of the data, and to cross check
with our core systems.
I
wish to become a supplier to Sainsburys. How do
I go about this?
Contact
our main switchboard on 020 7695 6000 and ask
for the relevant buyer. They will probably ask
for samples to be sent in.
where
can I get more information on your company?
The
corporate website www.j-sainsbury.co.uk contains
a lot of useful information. There are also links
from the SID homepage to some of our other websites.
what
are the minimum requirements for viewing the
SID website?
The
SID website is best viewed with Internet Explorer
5.5 and above.
