mix in your favourite herbs and spices to give them your own twist. Try hiding a chunk of mozzarella or goats' cheese
inside for the melt in the middle barbecue burger.

barbecue day. You can make up your own combination of skewers using ingredients like chicken, lamb, beef, peppers,
onions and mushrooms. You can even go all veggie with a skewer of peppers, mushrooms, shallots and tofu.

Barbecue, chicken, steak & spare ribs

When it comes to barbecuing meat you can simply cook it on the barbecue to give it a great smoky flavour. If you're looking
to get more flavour from your meat, try marinating it a few hours before or even the day before. Marinating helps give deep
flavours to the meat enhancing the taste. When you're next instore, visit our meat counter, they can give you advice on
the best cuts of meat for your barbecue and season it with herbs and marinades for free.

Did you know? Our fresh chickens don’t fly in from abroad.  They’re 100% British, born and bred.

Barbecue fish & seafood

It's not just about burgers and sausages, fish and seafood work really well on the barbecue. For seafood, such as king
prawns, it's best to spear them onto a skewer to prevent them falling through the grill. For fish, a great idea to make a tin
foil parcel, pack it with herbs and finely chopped veg and either place on the grill or sit it straight on the coals. This works
just as well for jacket potatoes.
