A delicious pasta dish with a spicy sauce.

Ingredients

150g Sainsbury’s freefrom penne
340g jar Sainsbury’s Arrabbiata sauce
100ml Alpro soya cream
1 tablespoon cold pressed rapeseed oil
25g Mrs Crimble’s breadcrumbs
Zest of half a lemon
½ x 28g pack fresh basil, chopped plus some leaves for garnish

 


Method

1.  Cook the Sainsbury’s freefrom penne  following pack instructions.

2.  Meanwhile, gently heat the Sainsbury’s Arrabbiata sauce and soya cream in a pan.

3.  Whilst the sauce is warming, heat the rapeseed oil in a separate pan and add the breadcrumbs. Fry until golden and crispy.

4.  Remove from the heat and add the lemon zest and basil.

5.  Stir the cooked penne into the hot sauce and spoon into two serving bowls.

6.  Top with the crispy crumbs and garnish with some more basil leaves..
