Banana & caramel trifle

Tasty fruit dessert with a caramel and maple twist.

Ingredients

1 banana, peeled and sliced
Juice of 1 orange
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 x Sainsbury's freefrom caramel slice

To garnish
Mint leaves (optional)

 


Method

1.  Place the banana, orange juice and maple syrup in a small pan.  Heat for five minutes or until the banana has begun to break down.

2.  Spoon into a tall glass and crumble the shortbread over the top. 

3.  Garnish with mint and serve.
